Worth Adding Mods to White Weapons?
So I'm picking up a lot of white max dmg weapons with low requirements. For example, this white max dmg Chaos Axe with req 9
Is it worth it to add mods to sell it? Thanks! |

For selling it I think it would be most advantagous to sell the axe clean and the mods seperatly. People are generally willing to pay more overall when they can choose what they want rather than having to put up with the mods someone else thought would be good. Just my opinion...

I use max damage white items with mods a lot with my warrior... especially since it's hard to find the "perfect" weapon when you switch them as much as I do. Plus, it's a heck of a lot more cost and time conscious to do this. I blew my gold on a celestial sigil for my guild (a bunch of people I work with who don't have the levels or equipment I do) so frugality is a virtue for me right now.

I am not too familiar with player trade. But NPC trade, you're better off NOT salvaging modded weapons in the first place, but selling them as is. I assume that the reason you even have those mods that you want to sell, is because you salvaged them off of an item.
And note- PvP unlocks happen on item identification. Salvage is unnecessary for PvP unlocks. |
